Katie joined Emergent’s Finance team in September 2025, bringing 20 years of experience from her time at InterWest Partners, where she oversaw cash management and financial accounting for limited and general partnerships.

Before entering the venture capital industry, Katie worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading financial statement audits for venture capital clients. She is a licensed CPA and holds a B.A. in Business Economics with an accounting emphasis from UC Santa Barbara. She is on the Board of Field Middle School, which provided a magical middle school experience for her oldest son.
